Xiaomi Mi WiFi miniはここまで堂々とやるかっ!さすがはXiaomi

Xiaomi Mi WiFi miniを仕入れましたよっ!
前々から気にはなっていたのですが、口が開かない財布を久々に開封。
相変わらずシンプルな箱です。
Xiaomiのこのシンプルさが僕は好きです。


実は今回入手したのには理由がある訳で。
ファームウェアが何も隠さないOpenWrtだという話を聞いたのでっ!
どこまでOpenWrtなのか愉しみに電源入れる前から開封記です。

箱の裏側もお決まりのシンプル仕様。
Xiaomiはこれだからやめられない。


箱を開けて本体が登場。
やはりシンプル。


電源(12V, 1A)と説明書の紙が一枚。
やはりここもシンプル。


WAN 1port、LAN 2port、USB 1port。
ここまでシンプルにしましたか。
LANが4portも要らない環境も多いですよね。無線で足りる事も多いのでサクッと捨ててしまっているのが日本では考えにくい構成ですね。


開封する時はシールをはがす必要があります。
ネジは2個。
プラスネジなので、トルクスを用意する必要はありません。


開封の仕方は、写真下の方からこじ開けていく形になります。
予想以上に固いので注意してください。
ただし爪の強度もかなりあるので、簡単には折れなさそう。


この基板のレジスト色好きなんですが。
この基板の感じでどこか作ってくれる処ないかね?
にしてもビアだらけ。
ここまで必要なんだろうか?
シリアルはパターンは出てます。がスルーホールではないのが残念。


裏面は隠されてます。
無線チップはなぜか剥き出し。
一番確認したい台湾SoCは隠れてますがMT7620Aです。



ここからがびっくり。
管理画面は、Luciそのまんま。


どうみてもそのまんまです。


ログからみてもOpenWrtです。
12.09ベースなので、少し古さが残ってしまうのが残念。
この類のルータでは、12.09ベースの物が多いので、何気に安定しているバージョンなのかもしれないが。


今の最新のLuciでは動かないのだが、久々に見ましたLuciXEyEのテーマ。
左側メニューでLuciと云えばLuciXEyEですね。
この感じ好きですよ。


自ビルドのOpenWrtへ書き換えても、戻し手順も存在したり、純正ファームも公開されていたりとかなりハックしてください状態ですね。
ファーム弄りは次回に置いておいて、最後に起動のログを貼っておきますね。

新しい純正ファームウェア(テーマが変更されているの)で電波出力はできますでしょうか?

遅くなりました。
新しいファームにアップしてみました。
版本2.6.17(12月7日更新)にしてみましたが、確認する限り技術的には、2.4G、5G共に接続可能です。
が、日本では技適問題が存在するので電波遮蔽環境等でなければ使用できない点は変更ありません。
