Xiaomi/XIAOYI Smart Camera is Linux Camera Box.

正式名称がXiaomi/XIAOYI Smart Cameraで良いのか少し不安だが。
Xiaomi/XIAOYI Smart Cameraは、Linux Camera Boxとしてオモチャとしてなりうるのかを見てみたいと思います。
なぜオモチャとして見ているかは、日本国内で普通に使うには技適の問題と、繋ぎ方が解りにくかったから。。。
中国語が解れば簡単に使えるのかもしれないが。。。なかなかAndroidアプリが見つからないし。。。
ちなみに入手したのは、Nightバージョンになります。


相変わらずのシンプルな箱。
Xiaomiはみんなこんな感じ。


板にカメラ本体を刺すという形のパッケージ。
軽くて扱いやすそう。


USB電源アダプタ。
日本でも刺さるタイプのプラグではあるが、使うかと云われると使わない。
通常のmicroUSBなので、日本で入手できるアダプタを使う方が安心と思われる。


板にカメラモジュールを付けて固定する形、台座も軽いので立つのか不安があったが問題はなさそう。
ネジ等で壁に付けるタイプではなく、底面が接着テープ状態になっているので、壁に付ける場合は本当に貼る形。(これは少しやりたくない感)
あと、1回剥がしたらどうするんだ?位置は一回で決めろと。。。


microUSBケーブルと、USB電源アダプタ、1枚ぺらの説明書が付いています。
中国語はわからんので、説明書は読みません(読めません)。。。


カメラ本体は、台座に填め込んでいるだけなので簡単に外せます。
爪を少し押しながらで簡単に抜けます。



では開封記と行きましょう。
プラスネジ4か所で簡単に開きます。
日本と違い、簡単に開けれない様にする必要がないのでしょう。
予想していなかった基板に実装されずに、配置されているだけの部品。
ケース側についてます。


搭載されているSoCはHi3518。
HD IP Camera用のARMv5になります。
ぐぐるとデータシートも見つかるので、情報には困らなさそうではあります。
パターンが並んでいるのはJTAGと思われるが、各パターンを調べていくのは面倒なので、どこかに情報がないか探してみる事にしよう。
写真右上の3パターン、コネクタにそのまま対応している訳だが、この箇所はUARTなので、ここさえ使えればファームの書換え自体は可能である。


最近増えてきた様にも思える、モジュール基板を張り付けるタイプ。
センサーはど真ん中。
傷をつけない様に注意してください。
あと、写真下側にSPI Flash。(8ピンタイプなので、扱いやすくて助かります。)
ちなみに使われているのは馴染みのないGIGADEVICEのGD25Q128です。


レンズ側とは、またネジで固定しています。


ガワは柔らかい素材です。
柔らかいというか薄いというか、ペコペコです。


取り外すとこの様な形になります。


レンズ廻りには赤外線が並んでいます。


基板上にネジが4か所。
2個がレンズ固定用。2個がケースに基板固定用です。


シリアルのボーレートは、115,200です。
起動するのはLinux。
toolchainはgithubに存在していそうなので、遊べそうな予感がします。
もちろん日本で無線を飛ばす訳にはいかないので、無線は技適取得済みモジュールに差し替え?
なんていうハックもありかもしれませんね。
